Eggs are the best source of protein. They are safe to eat during pregnancy. Milk provides calcium to build your baby’s bones and to keep yours healthy. This book has a few dairy-free recipes that also provide calcium. Finally, orange juice, oranges and prenatal multivitamins provide folic acid and other vitamins and minerals that are important for your baby’s growth and for your health while you are pregnant.
The tasty recipes in this book are quick and easy. They are not expensive. They are safe for all pregnant women, even those with gestational diabetes.
