Makes 12 muffins or 1 loaf
Ingrédients
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) rolled oats
- 1 cup (250 ml) milk
- 1 cup (250 ml) flour
- 1 cup (250 ml) baby cereal with added iron (rice or oats)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) salt
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) raisins or chopped dried dates
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
Mode d'emploi
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°F).
- Line a 12-cup muffin pan with muffin cups or grease a 9 x 5 inch (23 x 13 cm) loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix oats and milk.
- In a medium bowl, mix flour, baby cereal, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt and raisins.
- Add oil, brown sugar and egg to oat and milk mixture. Mix well.
- Gently mix together wet and dry ingredients, until just combined.
- Pour batter into muffin cups or loaf pan. Bake according to the following time chart.
Muffin pan = 20 minutes
Loaf pan = 30 minutes
